It’s Fall Drink Season at The Caffè by Mr. Espresso in Oakland

Fall is here, and Oakland’s Mr. Espresso is raising the bar with the introduction of seasonal chef collaborations. Host Sal Castenada talks to Luigi Di Ruocco and Chef Nelson German about the first drink in the lineup, The Big Apple, a spiced apple latte topped with coconut-cream foam that was created by Chef Nelson to honor his hometown of “The Big Apple” and his Afro-Dominican roots.

The fall drink promotion continues through Nov. 29, with drink specials that include the Brundo Spice Mocha from Daniel Aderaw Yeshiwas of Cafe Colucci; White Choke-late, which is made with sunchokes and white chocolate, from Abaca chef Francis Ang; and The Bussdown, a toasted marshmallow and candied sweet potato latte from Oakland chef Mike Woods.
