Great news! We are proud to announce that two Mr. Espresso coffees were named Good Food Awards Finalists 2022 by the Good Food Foundation. Our Organic/Fair Trade Certified Guatemala CODECH – Women’s Lot (medium-light roast) and Organic Ethiopia Shantawene Natural (light roast) are among the 25 coffee division finalists from across the country.

The Good Food Awards celebrate food products of exceptional taste that also carry the values of care for the environment and social responsibility. We are so grateful to the Good Food Foundation for recognizing these fine coffees for meeting their criteria. ⠀

Big congrats to our VP Coffee John Di Ruocco and his team for the honor these well-produced coffees have earned! With these coffees, John is now a six-time Good Food Award Finalist and three-time winner — for coffees and his Jackrabbit California Olive Oil.⠀

Also, we commend the women farmers of CODECH (Coordinadora de Organizaciones de Desarrollo de Concepción Huista) of Guatemala’s Huehuetenango Region, and Daye Bensa Coffee and their farmers of Shantawene in Ethiopia’s Sidama region! Without their commitment and care for the land, these superb beans would not be possible.
