Our Ethiopian Ginjo comes from Abana Coffee in the famed Oromia region of Southwestern Ethiopia. This outstanding coffee is grown at elevations of 6,300 to 7,200 feet and is shaded by the canopies of surrounding old-growth forests.
Abana Coffee was started in 2009 by the Omran family and is devoted to not only premium coffee, but also the local community. Abana has taken on everything from environmental projects, such as processing this coffee at a water recycling wet mill, to donating medical supplies and supporting schools; however, Abana Coffee’s largest contribution has been its five community-based medical projects consisting of cataract surgeries and dental procedures.
Ethiopia Washed Ginjo brews a medium-bodied cup with flavors of mandarin orange, black tea, and peach.
