This unique coffee cocktail from the folks at alley & vine—in our hometown, Alameda—gives you just the right boost! Xtabentún, an anise liqueur from Mexico’s Yucatan region, gives the drink a unique licorice, honey and floral flavor. Combined with Mr. Espresso Seven Bridges Blend, then rounded out with tequila blanco and Kahlua, this tasty cocktail will deliver!

Recommended Coffee MR. ESPRESSO SEVEN BRIDGES BLEND


INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ oz tequila blanco
  • ¾ oz Kahlua
  • ½ oz Xtabentún
  • 1 cup brewed, then chilled Seven Bridges Blend coffee, black

EQUIPMENT


  • coffee brewer
  • cocktail shaker
  • Nick & Nora glass, recommended

DIRECTIONS


1 – Combine all ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker.

2 – Shake, then double strain into a Nick & Nora glass.

3 – Garnish with dry rose bud.
