As there are no standards in portafilter design in terms of size, weight, balance or detail, each espresso machine manufacturer’s 58mm portafilter is slightly different. The overall depth and neck depth of the tamping station are designed to accommodate the majority of leading 58mm portafilters on the market, including both nozzle and bottomless varieties. Careful consideration was given to the weight and footprint of the tamping station; the width and design of the bottom edge offer balance and stability to counteract the inconsistent weight distribution of the vast majority of 58mm portafilters. Soft, continuous curvature on the inner edge prevents contact with sharp, stainless steel portafilter edges, minimizing scratches, while also adding visual warmth and depth.

Dosing Funnel is designed for use with 58mm portafilters and most On Demand Doserless Grinders, it requires a minimum of 30mm of clearance between the rim of the portafilter and dosing spout/chute and will not work with traditional Dosing Chamber Equipped Grinders.
