SPINEL was born from an idea of Vincenzo, Giovanni and Cesare Spinelli, entrepreneurs with wide experience in the production of coffee machines and in the vending machine business. Indeed, our company is the result of a business that dates back to the early Sixties. Spinel is specialized in the production of (pod and capsule) espresso machines characterized by extreme reliability, versatility, durability, ease of use, and efficiency.
The Pinocchio machine is designed for use with standard ESE single espresso pods, which are widely available from coffee roasters around the US and the world. Heating up to operating temperature in under 3 minutes and supplied by a 3.0 liter water reservoir, the machine provides consistent high quality espresso with no downtime between shots. The easy to use ESE pods avoid the mess associated with grinders or preground coffees while being as simple to use as a teabag. Thanks to its Patented Self-Cleaning Hydraulic System all inconveniences related to lime scale have been removed from the coffee infusion group. The compression closing system provides optimal compaction of the pod and enhanced coffee infusion. The coffee and steam heat exchangers can be operated independently reducing energy usage when one of these operations is not necessary. The compact design and ease of use make the Pinocchio ideal for small offices and domestic use. Available in Coffee only or Coffee and Steam versions.
