As of late November this year I will have known my husband for eight years. I have also been drinking Mr. Espresso coffee for eight years too. I have told this delightful coffee story to many friends over time and thought you too might enjoy. I had been drinking coffee, or what I thought was coffee, all my life. Even grinding my own beans. I really thought I knew what good coffee is. Wrong! The very first morning I ever woke up in my husband’s home he came running into the bedroom with a timer hanging around his neck, at this point I thought he was a bit weird, and said to me “In thirty seconds the coffee will be ready, I’ll bring you a cup”. “Okay, I thought to myself…. He’s a little over the top with this “coffee thing” but what the heck”. And then I sat up and took my first sip of your wonderful coffee! Since that day I have leaned a lot about coffee. Coffee, at least your’s, is a precious thing. It must be treated with love. Stored properly, ground and measured on a scale, a minute or two before you’re going to pour the water that is just below a rolling boil over the coffee into a French Press and timed for four minutes and 30 seconds. Then you decant and pour the rich rather red looking liquid into your cup and enjoy. Yes, I too am over the top with this “coffee thing” We are your loyal customers for over ten years and since moving from Little Rock, the only store who carries your product in Arkansas, have four bags of your beans shipped to our home in Fayetteville every month. Mr. Dicarlo, your product is the best and I wish more people understood what real coffee is and how to appreciate it. Thank you for your contribution to our culture.
